Christmas 2019

Joel's Christmas Wish List

The Joel Community Wish Lis is a list of 'basic needs' items for our guests (as well as food items for the shelter) and can be a very affordable to give. We prefer to give our guests high-quality, new items wherever possible - we believe they are worth it!

Please top-up all gift cards (including Oyster) with £5 MAXIMUM. Coffee shop cards are a particularly great gift as our guests often need somewhere dry and warm to sit during the day, especially when public amenities such as libraries are closed. £5 MAXIMUM please, as these can be used as currency on the streets.

Please do not include sweets, cakes or confectionary - our guests are often struggling with significant health issues which makes healthy eating a very important part of the recovery process. For this reason we have no refined sugar in the building but we really welcome donations of honey which we use for cooking, baking, pouring on cerals and to sweeten hot drinks.

Thank you so much for your generosity and understanding!

DROP-OFF POINT

Please drop-off your donations at the Joel Community Night Shelter, St Peter's Church, London Road, Kingston KT2 6QL, week days between 9.30am - 4pm. Or drop them into the St Peter's Church office (week days 9.30am - 12.30pm)
